Icon vaults are a little-known feature of System 7's Finder. They can replace an item's Finder icons without modifying the original item in any way.
When the Finder rebuilds its desktop files, it uses the icons within an icon vault in preference to the icons attached to the item, whether an application, control panel, extension, or document. You can add as many icon vaults to your Macintosh as you like!
About This Package

This free package contains 17 icon vaults for a variety of applications, games, control panels, and extensions. Each package includes full instructions on installation and useage. Perhaps the most useful are the ClarisWorks 2.x/Font Drivers icon vaults.
